We are excited to announce that Olde Creek was selected as the recipient of an Impact Grant of  $4,000 from the Apple Federal Credit Union Education Foundation. A “very large” check was presented yesterday by the Executive Director of the AFCU Education Foundation, our local school board member Megan McLaughlin, Kathleen Walts, the Executive Director of Professional Learning and Family Engagement, and Becky and Eric from the Region 5 office.    

Four of our staff members wrote the grant application earlier this Fall that was chosen following a rigorous selection process. Congratulations to Ms. Butler, Ms. Barton, Ms. Stobbe, and Ms. Poppe for all of their hard work. The funding from the grant will support the new Innovation Lab, that our students recently named the Creation Cave. We will purchase new technology, resources, and robotics equipment that will be available for all of our students to use this year. Thank you to Apple for their generosity and support.
