Years at Olde Creek: Ten Years-what a great decade it has been!
What do you love about working at Olde Creek? Olde Creek is like a family. My own children started here as 3rd and 6th graders. Everyone, students and staff, take time to get to know each other and connect. Having moved from outside of Virginia in 2011, I feel very lucky to have happened upon this very special school.
What are some of your hobbies/interests? I love movies of all kinds: funny, sad, action- marvel is my favorite! Spending time outside with my family and dog is also very important to me; be it hiking, boating, gardening or just walking in the woods.
What is your favorite children's book? I loved, and reread many times, Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome as a child. It is a summer adventure book.
What is your favorite inspirational quote? "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." -Jane Goodall.
